Sigmund-Freud-Museum

Visit the place where neurologist and founder of the “Psychoanalysis” Sigmund Freud lived and worked for a long time. The museum is located in Freud’s home and office, where he lived and worked from 1891 until 1938.

The museum contains an impressive collection, including furniture, personal items, manuskripts, letters and books.

Vienna’s museum of the history of medicine. A historic building, built in the late 18th century. It originally served as a medical-surgical academy and played an important role within education and research in Vienna. The “Josephinum” is home to an extensive collection of anatomical specimens that were commissioned by Joseph II.

The “Weltmuseum” Vienna

The focus of the ethnographic museum lies on different cultures and citizens from different parts of the world. It has a long history and was founded in 1928. Back then it was known as the “Museum of Ethnology” and ist located within the Mollard-Cary at the Center of Vienna.
