Each year Vienna organises the New Year’s Eve Trail, a series of events and parties from the centre of the city via the Rathausplatz all the way to the Prater park. Fans of classical music should head to the Graben in the centre of the city, where the city’s dance schools perform traditional waltzes and invite members of the public to join in.
